About the Prints
All images displayed in this exhibit are available for purchase as museum-quality fine art archival prints. Each transparency is first drum-scanned at an ultra-high resolution to create a 300MB+ digital file. Color prints are made by the state-of-the-art LightJet 5000 printer on Fuji Crystal Archive paper with your choice of a matte, glossy or supergloss finish. Employing the latest, breakthrough laser technology, the LightJet 5000 printer is the current standard for making fine art prints. In addition, Fuji Crystal Archive paper is one of the most archival photographic materials made, with an astounding display life of over 60 years! Giclée/PiezographyBW technology is used to make Black and White prints. The beauty of the expanded tonal range and the incredible detail these museum-quality, Piezo BW prints can yield will truly amaze you. Its standard features include: continuous-tone like look, image permanence, tonal control and exquisite appearance, while offering the unique advantage of a greater dynamic range over other technologies.
