"Monument Valley Butte"
There was something just so enticing about this lone butte standing in the vast Monument Valley landscape, as I kept revisiting and shooting it every day during my 3-day stay in that area in late May, 2009. On this particular morning, the light was perfect and the otherwise non-stop rain had stabilized a little as well. I knew I had my image in that moment!
