"Monument Valley Rainstorm"
Relentless rains in the entire Four Corners area (NM, AZ, CO and UT borders), that would just refuse to stop, left me wondering if I'd come out with even a single worthwhile image on my week-long road trip to that area. I kept scouting the Monument Valley every day, staying as patient as possible for any break in the weather. I was rewarded with this amazing scene on one of my final days out there. You can clearly see the famous "mitten" buttes in the distance. A thoroughly satisfying image for me, indeed, made while it was raining!
